At the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, we care about the health and wellness of American communities. To have economic growth, businesses need healthy employees and healthy consumers.
The Health Means Business's Healthy10 Awards were created by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation as a way to honor 10 innovative partnerships/initiatives involving cross-sector collaborations between local businesses and traditional and non-traditional partners to improve community wellness through greater economic opportunity. These awards also honor innovative businesses that are supporting the health of their consumers and communities within their core business models and missions.
By showcasing these successful and innovative initiatives, we hope to inspire the business community and other key stakeholders to engage in a national community health and wellness movement and shine a light on businesses that are on the forefront of these efforts.
The Healthy10 Awards were presented during the 2017 Health Means Business National Summit on Thursday, February 16, 2017. Awards were given in the following categories: Healthy Community, Healthy Education and Workforce, Healthy Environment, and Health Means Business Partnership or Business of the Year.
