Will Powell
- Associate Manager, Resilience Programs
Will Powell is associate manager of global resilience programs at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation. Through research and planning efforts, Will supports programs and events for the disaster response and resiliency portfolio, including the Small Business Readiness for Resiliency (R4R) initiative, the Disaster Help Desk for Business, the disaster corporate aid tracker, and the annual Building Resilience Conference. He originally started at the U.S. Chamber Foundation as a coordinator in 2017.
Previously, Will spent two summers as a camp counselor at the YMCA of the Triangle in Chapel Hill, NC. While there, he organized daily agendas and facilitated bi-weekly field trips for campers. Before this, Will worked at the Institute for Defense and Business as an Intern in Chapel Hill. During four consecutive summers, he assisted program directors and leadership with event planning and operations support.
Will graduated with a B.S. in Commerce and Business Administration from the University of Alabama.
